Shipping policy

We generally ship orders out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  If you have ordered a ready to ship item, your order should ship out within 3-5 days of ordering.  If you are working on something custom with us, we will provide you shipping information as part of our quote.  All orders are shipped through USPS or UPS, and we do offer flat rate on smaller items during the autumn, winter and spring months.

Summer Delivery

We will only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays during the summer months (starting in May, ending in September).  There will be occasions during the summer months that shipping will be more expensive -- we will automatically include warm weather packaging in the form of ice packs, bubble mailers, etc.  While we do not make any express guarantees of the quality of the chocolate through the mail, we will make every attempt to ensure your package arrives with as little damage as possible. 

In addition, when we receive an order for any items set to ship or be in transit when the weather is 90 degrees or higher along the shipping route, we will contact any buyer to confirm they would like the item shipped.  If you confirm that you would like the item shipped, we will not assume any responsibility for packages damaged due to heat.  If you instead would not like it shipped, we will cancel the order and refund you in full.  If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, we will assume you would like the item shipped and will not assume responsibility for packages damaged due to heat.

Local Delivery

We offer local delivery as an option within roughly 10 miles of North Denver.  If you are unsure of whether or not you qualify for local delivery, send us a message with your name and address and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  We will send you an email to let you know when your order will be delivered.  Currently, we only do local deliveries on Mondays, but during periods of high volume we will deliver more frequently.  Please reach out if you need a different delivery day.

As of July 1st, 2022, all orders delivered by vehicle (ie. every order placed for local delivery or through a mailing service) will require a surcharge of $0.27.  This surcharge only applies to orders delivered in the state of Colorado, and will be included within our handling fee.
